It took some time for Kennedy's win to actually sink in. I am thrilled and extremely proud that she won the contest of TheCuteKid. I initially did not think much about kid contests or any contest for that matter. I mean, all mothers think their children are the cutest kids alive but TheCuteKid gave me a chance to get other parents' and peers' opinions. Since the contest, I have made plans to place Kennedy with an agency to see what opportunities are available to her. The winnings from TheCuteKid have given Kennedy's father and I a step ahead in her college career. Education has been a top priority and with the help of the college funds given to her, it will help support that priority. I entered TheCuteKid contest all by coincidence. I happened to see TheCuteKid website one morning and thought it was worth a try to enter my little one. I never expected the outcome of her not only winning the August contest, but to win the 2007 contest as well. Any parent that has a picture of their child and believes that they are adorable should take the opportunity to upload those pics and get a second opinion. You never know what might happen. I know I sure didn't. The photo of Kennedy that I entered into the contest was taken by a friend of mine that does fabulous photos. He captured Kennedy's personality perfectly. Kennedy's has such a naturally charming, lovable way about her and it is apparent in the picture that was used in the contest.
Raising a three-year old is such a blessing. You find the child in yourself again. It's such an adventure and as they learn new things, you learn new things about, not only your child, but yourself as well. Our family is extremely spiritual and it has always been important to give Kennedy a strong foundation centered around respect for God and his standards. Doing this has much to do with the outcome and future development of your child. |

| I think the reason Kennedy one is because her personality does shine through the photo and that's what every modeling agency wants. A child who shines. Congrats. |
