Questions on Explore Talent?

Hello, just received an email from Cute Kids to join Explore Talent? Has anyone else joined, and what feedback do you have regarding this? Apparently it is to find local casting. I thought this was found on the cutekids site for members. I might be interested but I need more information first.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

I would stay away from Explore Talent. I am interested to know how this e-mail came to you from thecutekid? I would ask thecutekid if they are associated in any way with them. I encourage you to do more research like you are here asking this question. Check out rip off reports! Go to Backstage and see what is being said about them! I just read a lot in the Backstage forum (child section).
There are good legitimate casting sites out there. You have to know which ones they are and as you get to know the biz better, you will know what to look for.

Thanks for the reply! It appears that the email came from Cute Kid.
I am going to contact them, and see if this really did come from them or not. If a forum administrator is monitering this site and can answer this question I would appreciate it. I have saved the email, because if they did not, they should see who is using their name. This is what they state

I just googled Explore talent and found many things indicating that they are indeed a scam. Still would like a reply as to whether Cute Kids is involved with them, or if they are fraudulently using the Cute Kid name. Also wondering how they got my email address?

If you go into community and then Cute Kid Q&A, you could post your questions there. Perhaps Explore Talent is a registered agent on this site and is contacting you. If so, I would want to know Cute Kid's screening process. One thing I LOVE about Children in Film is I know all agents and casting directors, etc. are legit because of their screening process. The Children in Film employees know the biz and would not allow a scammer. I would expect the CuteKid to want to uphold those standards as well.
