Hi everyone, i am a new member and , technically a SAHM , meaning that I do not work outside of the home, although I do attend Graduate school full time. Are there any other student mommies on the board? Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
If you are so inclined, pleased drop a quick vote for my little cutie in the Evenflo "Baby You're a Star" Contest, she is the finalist from Lancaster, Texas.
I realize that there is another finalist on the board but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Monday! |

Hi Allison,
I'm not sure if any of the other moms out there are full-time students, although I think there are a couple that have spouses in school. Either way we are all moms experiencing the same joys and tears. Welcome! |

Hello! I am not currently a mommy but will be in a few months. I am currently working and going to school for accounting! What are you going to school for? My education will be continuing for the next few years... that is why I am trying to build my work at home business. Check it out, the information is free and you may be interested! That way I can stay at home full time and go to school and raise my beautiful little one
Best of Luck!

I am also a SAHM and a student. I started working professionaly during my senior year in college. I thought I would finish my degree slowly while I worked but I let that slide, opting instead to focus on my career. I always thought I would finish school but didn't know when the opportunity would present itself.
Last year my company offered buyouts to longtime employees and since I was on maternity leave and dreaded the thought of leaving my daughter at a daycare 40 hours a week, I decided to take the buyout and go back to school. Now, I'm 12 credits shy of my bachelor's in English!
The funny thing is I hated being a student when I was in my early 20s. Now that I'm in my early 30s I love it! I don't want to graduate. Scratch that, I do want to graduate but also, I want to keep going to school. |
